half a year of blogging revisited

So a friend of mine sends a short e-mail: "Dude" (yes, he addresses everyone...male and female...as "Dude" even though he is well past 30 years old), "finally checked out the blog. Looks cool but you know I'm not gonna read all of that from the beginning...be a bud and point out the choice stuff."

The "choice stuff" is, of course, a matter of opinion. But, for JC (no, not that JC) and anyone else interested who hasn't been here from the start, I rather like this
