Robert A. Heinlein's Rules for Writing

1) You must write.
2) You must finish what you write.
3) You must refrain from rewriting except to editorial order.
4) You must put it on the market.
5) You must keep it on the market until it sells.

*****

Well, heck, it sounds so easy when he says it...

What was true in 1947 is, of course, true in 2005. Sometimes easier said than done...writers being the self-criticizing, thin-skinned, easily distracted beings that we can too often be...but true nevertheless.

Perseverance furthers.
